Hacksaw Gaming goes gothic with Immortal Desire, a November 2023 release that pairs a vampire-romance theme with high-volatility math. The studio's take leans on multipliers, symbol transformations, and a 10,000x ceiling.
Immortal Desire runs on a 5x4 grid, five reels by four rows. Three mechanics shape the base game. Wild symbols substitute for regular pay symbols to complete winning combinations, multipliers increase the value of any win they apply to, and symbol transformation can switch symbols on the grid into different ones.
The bonus side is built around three further mechanics. Scatters are special symbols that count regardless of where they land on the grid. The free spins round runs a stretch of spins without further stakes. For anyone unwilling to wait, the buy bonus option grants direct entry into the bonus round.
At 96.24%, the RTP lands a notch above the 96% industry average, so the long-term statistical return reads as respectable rather than remarkable. Volatility is high, and that defines the session: hits arrive less often, dry spells stretch longer, and the larger wins do most of the work. It is a profile that suits patient players with bankroll headroom more than casual spinners. The 10,000x max win sits firmly in high-potential territory.
The theme list reads dark, horror, romance, and vampire, a combination that points at one specific tradition: gothic longing with fangs. Expect a brooding, nocturnal atmosphere rather than bright cartoon horror.
Immortal Desire gets the fundamentals right: an above-average RTP, a genuinely high ceiling, and a theme with real identity. What holds it back is that the high volatility will grate on anyone hoping for steady returns. It lands as a 6/10 release: a fair pick for players who enjoy swingy, patient sessions in a gothic setting. The free demo on this page is the sensible way to test whether the pacing suits you.
